LOGLINE
Twelve stories of teenage boys and girls facing their final years of school, caught between doubts, uncertainties and the first choices that will shape their future: a choral portrait of Italian adolescence suspended between school, work and life.
CONCEPT
Scuola 4.0 was born from the desire to tell the story of the final years of school through the eyes of those living it: twelve teenage boys and girls facing doubts, uncertainties and the first choices that will shape their future.
The project also stems from the need to remember what we were like fifteen or twenty years ago, to reflect on how the choices made in youth become, over time, paths, journeys, sometimes dead ends. Through the protagonists' stories, the themes running through contemporary Italian adolescence emerge: youth unemployment, the desire to seek fulfillment elsewhere, and school and work experienced as stages of a path still entirely to be written.
